Intervention Details:
Venty’s Restaurant approached SEDFA in the year 2024 seeking assistance with funding of their business operations. He was then later referred for business training in Basic business skills to enhance Mr Prince Moloto’s business acumen. He was also assisted with application of funding through Wholesale and Retail SETA through their SPAZA programme and accessed stock to the value of R 6 000.00. A branding/ signage project was initiated to assist with visibility and brand positioning, looking at the position of the restaurant and poor visibility from the main roads. As a requirement from W&R SETA, Mr Moloto attended an inventory management training to assist him with stock management skills and accurate recording.
Outcome Details:
Turnover increased from R 249 600.00 to R 360 000.00
Net profit increased from R 51 840.00 to R 100 000.00
