The business was established to meet this demand by providing purified water through both refilling stations and pre-packaged bottled water.
Challenges/Needs:
• One major challenge that was identified through the Assessment was the lack of Packaging Materials for water bottling
• The business further needs to upgrade its equipment to allow them to compete in the market well resourced.
Intervention Insights and Results
Intervention Details:
Sedfa’s diagnostic assessment conducted by Seda Business Advisor Ms. Mosedi Senkokile revealed that there is a need to assist by developing packaging materials. This intervention was successful and has assisted the business to save the cost especially in the mass production of bottled water.
Outcome Details:
The business’ turnover has increased from R55 000 to R902 400. The business managed to sustain the previous job of which three more jobs were created which makes it a total of four (4) jobs for the year.
